frantic! I can see why you like it, it has the kind of subtle darkness over it combined with beautifull artwork, super detailed but roughed up as well, elements I recognise in your work too. Audio and visual. It's hard to really grab what's going on, but you feel the depth anyway. Can we call this 'Lynchian' maybe?
ReplyDeleteHmm, I would certainly not call them Lynchian, maybe more Gilliamesque... Although I also think they reference aesthetics and themes that go way further back than the 20th century... there's something timeless about them. In any case, lov'em.
